Initially, she seamlessly settles into the household as the ideal daughter-in-law, bringing happiness back into the family. However, the story soon takes a mysterious and fantastical turn. Her brother-in-law begins to grow suspicious of her behaviour and starts wondering whether his sister-in-law could actually be a witch. What follows takes the family through a series of events involving relationships, humour, adventure and mystery, taking the narrative in an unexpected direction. Yami will be seen in a character that combines innocence, warmth and a mischievous streak in a distinctive manner.
According to producer Anand L Rai, the film stands out for its unique world and its unpredictable twists and turns. The story blends family relationships with fantasy, humour and adventure, creating an unusual cinematic experience. Nikhil Madhok, Director and Head of SVOD Originals at Prime Video India and Amazon MGM Studios, described the film as an ideal family entertainer for the Dussehra season. The makers are hopeful that audiences looking to visit theatres with their families during the festive period will enjoy the film's distinctive combination of elements. Yami Gautam Dhar's fresh avatar, the eccentric Meerut family and the mystery surrounding whether the bride is a witch have further heightened curiosity around the film.
