Nalbari (Assam), 19 August (HS): Sarthebari Police have arrested three alleged burglars within 24 hours of a theft at a shop in New Bazar, Sarthebari.

The arrested persons have been identified as Mukib Ali, Nitul Ali and Rahim Ali. Police recovered a large quantity of stolen brass utensils worth more than ₹2 lakh from their possession.

According to police, the theft took place on Monday at a shop in New Bazar. During the investigation, police traced the suspects and recovered the stolen brass items along with a vehicle allegedly used in the crime.

Police said two other persons allegedly involved in the theft are still absconding. Further investigation is underway.-----------
