New Delhi, 19 August (H.S.): Natural Star Nani is set to appear in one of his most distinct and intense avatars yet in his upcoming film 'The Paradise'. After winning audiences over with emotionally charged performances in films such as 'Jersey' and 'Hi Nanna', Nani will take on a raw, action-packed role in the upcoming project. Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film features Nani as Jadal, a character who rises from the slums to emerge as an unlikely leader and protector of his people. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 24, 2026.
According to sources associated with the film, Nani's character is the son of a sex worker, portrayed by Sonali Kulkarni. He grows up in extremely difficult circumstances in a slum and faces oppression at the hands of powerful mafia landlords. Mohan Babu and Raghav Juyal will also play key roles in the film. According to the source, Jadal's compelling backstory serves as a major catalyst for the transformation of his personality. The teaser has already offered glimpses of Nani's violent, fearless and earthy portrayal. To make the world of the film look authentic and impactful, the makers have constructed a massive slum set spread across nearly 2.5 acres after studying slum settlements in different parts of the country.
The promotional content of 'The Paradise' has also been receiving an overwhelming response from audiences. The film's song 'Aaya Sher' has crossed 200 million views on YouTube, while its popularity continues to grow across social media platforms. Fans are creating reels in large numbers featuring Nani's look and signature hook step. Produced under the banner of SLV Cinemas, the film is set to be released in eight languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada and Malayalam. To expand the film's international reach, the makers have also reportedly approached Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds to present the film in overseas markets. With Srikanth Odela, who previously delivered the successful film 'Dasara', at the helm and Nani appearing in a striking new avatar, expectations surrounding 'The Paradise' are steadily rising.
