
New Delhi, 19 August (H.S.): Union Health and Family Welfare Minister JP Nadda was discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, on Wednesday following a successful angioplasty. Doctors said his condition was stable and cleared him to return home after his recovery in the hospital.
Nadda was admitted to AIIMS on August 13 after complaining of chest discomfort. During his evaluation, he underwent coronary angiography, following which doctors performed a successful angioplasty on August 17.
After remaining under medical observation at the hospital, Nadda's condition continued to improve steadily. Doctors subsequently discharged him on Wednesday after determining that his health was stable.
