Noida/New Delhi, 19 Aug (HS): “In a bid to develop a

long-term and robust Japanese industrial ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh, today in

New Delhi, we participated in the inaugural session of the Uttar Pradesh-Japan

Investment Meet 2026, held in the esteemed presence of the Honorable Union

Minister Shri @AshwiniVaishnawji, the

Honorable Union Minister Shri @ChouhanShivrajji, and the Honorable Governor of

Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, Shri

@kotaro_nagasakiji. On this occasion, the virtual foundation

stone laying of Escorts Kubota Ltd. and Spark Minda Corporation infused new

energy into the resolve for large-scale investment, employment, and expansion

of new manufacturing capacities in the state.

It is the result of the guidance, clear policies, pure

intent, and firm resolve of the esteemed Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji

that today 'New Uttar Pradesh' has joined the top three economies of India and

become the 'growth engine' of development. The young generation, which imbibes

Japan's decades of industrial experience and carries it forward, is in Uttar

Pradesh today. Japanese companies should consider Uttar Pradesh as their Second

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, during a

roundtable meeting with CEOs and business leaders from major companies during

the UP-Japan Investment Meet, thanked investors for their enthusiasm for

investing in the state. He said that Uttar Pradesh has undergone a

comprehensive 360-degree transformation in the last nine years. This

transformation has led to Uttar Pradesh emerging as a leading and dream

investment destination in India.

The Chief Minister stated that the government will provide

every possible support to entrepreneurs and companies investing in Uttar

Pradesh. He urged investors to come to Uttar Pradesh and expand their

industrial and business activities here. The government will ensure that

investors do not face any unnecessary difficulties at any level.

Investors' suggestions will be seriously considered: Yogi

said that he heartily thanks all the leading industrialists and CEOs for their

enthusiasm for the investment meet. The state government team has taken the

investors' suggestions seriously. He assured that investors' suggestions and

expectations will be seriously considered, and necessary steps will be taken to

address any practical issues that arise. The government and its entire team are

committed to providing an investment-friendly environment.

Young manpower and skilling will become strength: The Chief

Minister said that Uttar Pradesh has a large youth workforce. The government is

providing youth with skilling and upskilling opportunities tailored to the

needs of industries. This will provide investors with trained and competent

human resources. Infrastructure, connectivity, skilled manpower, and ease of

doing business are being continuously strengthened in response to the state's

changing industrial landscape. This will directly benefit companies investing

in the state.

Support for investors at every stage: He stated that

investments in Uttar Pradesh will prove highly beneficial for investors. The

state government will provide all possible support to investors within its policies.

The government strives to ensure a simple, transparent, and timely investment

process, providing entrepreneurs with a conducive environment to focus on

expanding their businesses. The entire government team stands with investors,

and effective arrangements will be made to resolve any issues that may arise.

'Whatever we say, we put it into practice': Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath said that the Uttar Pradesh government does not believe in mere

announcements, but rather implements what it promises. Investors can see for

themselves the transformation that has taken place in the state over the last

nine years. Changes in law and order, connectivity, infrastructure, the

industrial environment, and investment-friendly policies have presented a new

picture of Uttar Pradesh. Investors will also see this change in the

government's functioning.

Investment meet was called an important opportunity: The

Chief Minister described this investment meet as extremely important for Uttar

Pradesh's industrial development and investment. He said that through such

dialogues, the government has the opportunity to understand the expectations

and needs of the industry, while investors gain insight into the opportunities

and facilities available in the state. Yogi expressed confidence that the

growing interest of major industrial groups in Uttar Pradesh will further

accelerate new investment, employment, and economic activity in the state. He

also called on investors to participate in Uttar Pradesh's development journey

and take advantage of the investment opportunities in the state.
