Gold Prices Rise Marginally, Silver Remains Steady in Domestic Bullion Markets

New Delhi, 19 August (H.S.): Gold prices witnessed a marginal uptick in early trade in the domestic bullion market on Wednesday, while silver rates remained unchanged for the second consecutive day. Gold prices rose by Rs 200 to Rs 230 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country.

Following the price revision, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,55,900 and Rs 1,56,050 per 10 grams in most domestic bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold was quoted in the range of Rs 1,42,910 to Rs 1,43,060 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,49,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,56,050 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,43,060 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,55,900 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,910 per 10 grams. Similarly, Ahmedabad recorded retail prices of Rs 1,55,950 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 1,42,960 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.

In Chennai, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,55,900 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,42,910 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,900 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,42,910 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,55,950 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,960 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,56,050 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,43,060 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,55,950 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,42,960 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,56,050 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,43,060 per 10 grams.

Bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha were also witnessing a firm trend in gold prices during early trade. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,900 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,42,910 per 10 grams.
