According to local sources, water from the river has already started entering the Bandhpara area under Ward No. 2 of Arambagh Municipality. Residents are worried that the situation could worsen if the river continues to rise.
With the water level increasing, several low-lying areas are facing the threat of inundation. Residents of settlements along the riverbank are closely monitoring the situation, with some reportedly preparing to move essential belongings to safer locations.
