
New Delhi, 18 August (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and several Union ministers on Tuesday extended their warm wishes to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on her birthday.
In a post on X, Prime Minister Modi wrote, “Warmest birthday wishes to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman! With her emphasis on reforms and economic growth, she is accelerating our efforts to build a strong and self-reliant India. May God bless her with a long and healthy life.”
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla also extended his greetings, praying for Sitharaman’s good health, happiness and longevity.
Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah said Sitharaman’s unwavering commitment to the country’s progress was giving fresh momentum to Prime Minister Modi’s vision of nation-building through economic growth. He wished her continued good health and success.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said Sitharaman’s dedication and commitment to the nation had made a significant contribution towards strengthening India’s economy and advancing the country’s development journey. He also praised her efforts to promote inclusive growth and empower citizens.
External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar wished Sitharaman good health, happiness and continued success in her service to the nation.
