Prayagraj, 18 Aug (HS): The Kalash Vandan Yatra, being

organized to mark the 650th birth anniversary of Saint Ravidas, was

held on Tuesday in the Khuldabad division of the City West Assembly

constituency. City West MLA Siddharth Nath Singh, BJP District Vice President

Anand Sonkar, along with local residents, welcomed the Yatra. MLA Siddharth

Nath Singh, Anand Sonkar, and Councilor Durgesh Nandini, carrying the sacred

Kalash on their heads, toured the locality with a picture of Saint Ravidas and

a chariot.

A large number of people, including women, children, the elderly,

and youth from all walks of life, paid homage to Saint Ravidas and expressed

their gratitude. Siddharth Nath Singh stated that Saint Ravidas belongs to all

of us and that he unified society. The BJP has launched a campaign to spread

this message through this Yatra. The Kalash Yatra then departed for Ballia

district. Saint Ravidas's messages will always remain relevant. Apoorva

Chandra, Swarika Bhardwaj, Gaurav Gupta, and a large number of others were

present on the occasion.
