The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has effected key organisational changes, with party national president Nitin Nabin appointing new state in-charges and co-incharges for Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Gujarat.

According to a statement issued on Tuesday, BJP president Nitin Nabin appointed Vinod Tawde as the party’s in-charge for Uttar Pradesh, while Jagdish Ishwarbhai Patel was named the state’s co-in-charge.

Satish Poonia has been assigned responsibility for Punjab, while Tarun Chugh has been appointed the new in-charge for Gujarat.

The appointments are being viewed as significant steps towards further strengthening the BJP’s organisational structure and gearing up for upcoming political and electoral activities.

It may be recalled that the BJP announced its new organisational team on Monday as part of a broader restructuring exercise. Vinod Tawde was reappointed as the party’s national general secretary, while Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh was appointed in-charge of the BJP headquarters. Satish Poonia was also appointed a national general secretary.
