Jammu, 18 August (H.S.): In a key administrative development, the Central Government has appointed senior IAS officer Bhupinder Kumar as the Central Prabhari Officer (CPO) for Pulwama district in Jammu & Kashmir under the Aspirational Block Programme (ABP).

According to an official memorandum issued by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Bhupinder Kumar—currently serving as Director in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas—will oversee the implementation and developmental progress of the designated Ichgoza aspirational block in Pulwama, facilitating targeted governance and inter-departmental coordination in the region.
