Jammu, 18 August (H.S.): In furtherance of its nationwide call, Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh J&K organized protest demonstrations against alleged anti labour policies of Govt of India and submitted memorandum to the Prime Minister regarding Central issues and to the Chief Minister regarding issues of UT through Deputy Commissioners at more than 20 places in J&K UT.

Hundreds of scheme workers, Bank employees, daily wagers, contractual staff, Aanganwadi workers, Midday meal workers, Asha workers, NRHM, Municipal workers, project workers, Pvt Sector workers, railway employees, postal employees, Griff workers, Industrial workers etc participated in the protest.

At Jammu, hundreds of workers assembled at Dogra Chowk and marched towards DC office raising slogans in favour of their demands under the leadership of North India Dy Organising Secretary BMS, Ashok Choudhary.

The delegation met with DC Jammu at his office and submitted the memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister as well as Chief Minister.

The demonstrations at prominent places were led by Dev Parkash (UT President BMS J&K) at Reasi, Neelam Sharma (GS BMS J&K) and Naseem along with Babli at Udhampur, Harbans Choudhary (senior BMS leader) at Kathua, Ravi Hans (Secy BMS J&K) at Samba, Naseeb Singh (VP BMS J&K) at Kishtwar, Sudesh Sharma (Aanganwadi Disst president) at Budhal, Birbal Jalmeria and Jyoti Sumbria at Billawar, Ashok Kumar and Sanjay Sharma at Sunderwani, Ravi Bhushan at Doda, Jaswant Singh and Imtiaz Suhail at Ramban, Sanjay Sharma and Mushtaq at Poonch, Ranbir Singh Manhas at Bani, Sanjeev Sharma at Nowshera and Bakhta Khan at Banihal.
