
Lucknow, 16 Aug (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi
Adityanath conveyed sincere wishes to the state's citizens on the auspicious
occasion of Nag Panchami, preaching compassion for nature and peace. He is in
Gorakhpur to see traditional wrestling events (dangals) at the Gorakhnath
Temple. CM Yogi said Nag Panchami is an integral aspect of nature worship and
Sanatan tradition. He stated that this celebration embodies our folk customs
and appreciation of nature. The Chief Minister has arrived in Gorakhpur to
participate in a two-day traditional wrestling/dangal program commemorating Nag
Panchami. In this tournament, wrestlers from several districts demonstrate
their abilities.
In a post on X, he mentioned, “Heartfelt congratulations and
best wishes to the people of the state on the sacred festival of 'Nag
Panchami', which conveys the message of reverence for nature, co-existence, and
divinity. On this auspicious occasion today, I pray to Lord Bholenath that, by
His grace, every home and courtyard may be illuminated with joy, peace, and
prosperity.”
