New Delhi, Aug 17 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday shared a Subhashitam on X highlighting the power of collective resolve and unity, saying that the country progresses through collective determination and a sense of togetherness.

“Only through the power of collective resolve and unity does the country move forward. This spirit is the strong foundation of India's progress and prosperity,” the Prime Minister said in his X post.

The Subhashitam reads:

“समानी व आकूतिः समाना हृदयानि वः।

समानमस्तु वो मनो यथा वः सुसहासति॥”

The verse is from the Rig Veda (Mandala 10, Sukta 191, Mantra 4).

The meaning shared on the Prime Minister's X handle says that everyone's resolve should be aligned and their minds connected in a spirit of unity, enabling people to continuously work for the progress of society through mutual cooperation and equal treatment.
