New Delhi, 17 August (H.S.): Emraan Hashmi is currently enjoying the success of his recently released film ‘Awarapan 2’. Amid the film’s positive response, the actor has given his fans another reason to celebrate by announcing the release date of his much-anticipated upcoming film ‘Gunmaaster G9’. Directed by Aditya Datt, the action entertainer stars Emraan Hashmi alongside Genelia D’Souza and Aparshakti Khurana in key roles. The film’s music has been composed by Himesh Reshammiya and it is being produced under the banner of Soham Rockstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd.

Emraan Hashmi announced the release date by sharing a video clip from the film on social media. He revealed that ‘Gunmaaster G9’ will hit theatres on November 27, 2026.

Soon after the release date was announced, discussions surrounding the film’s potential box-office clash also began. Ayushmann Khurrana’s upcoming film ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ is also scheduled to arrive in theatres on the same date. As a result, audiences could witness a direct box-office face-off between the two films in the final week of November.

Interestingly, Emraan Hashmi’s latest film ‘Awarapan 2’ was also released amid a box-office clash. The film, which arrived in theatres on August 14, faced competition from Sunny Deol’s ‘Bantwara 1947’. With ‘Gunmaaster G9’ now heading for a release against another major film, a box-office contest has emerged even before its theatrical debut.

Following the success of ‘Awarapan 2’, ‘Gunmaaster G9’ presents another opportunity for Emraan Hashmi to strengthen his position at the box office and build further momentum with his return to the action genre.
