Nanded, 14 Aug (HS): ‘I never got scared and never

will’ said Sukhbir Singh Badal, in his first reaction after attack on him in

Nanded. Badal, former Deputy Chief Minister of Punjab and President of

Shiromani Akali Dal received injuries on hand during the attack by a Nihang

using Kripan during his visit to the historail Gurudwara in Nanded on Thursday.

Any blemish will never touch, if one has blessings

of Guru Sahib, he said. He said that any effort to disturb peace and harmony in

Punjab will not be tolerated, he said.

Badal was attacked by a Nihang identified as Jaspal

Singh. The injury on the right hand has to be stitched at a private hospital in

Nanded. Police arrested the attacker, who is working at the Gurudwara as ‘Sevedar’.

Police have started investigation into the motto

behind the attack on Badal.
