Latur, 13 Aug (HS): Brahmin Community in Latur

through Vidyavardhini Trust disburse scholarships to poor and talented students

from Brahmin community for higher education. This year 25 students were given

Rs 7 lakh by the Trust, on Thursday.

During the last eight years 165 students were given

Rs 20 lakh by the Trust.

Chairman of Rudani Infrastructure Vivek Deshpande

chaired the function to disburse the scholarships on Thursday. Senior

ophthalmologist Dr Ram Patil, founder President of the Trust Dr Vishwas

Kulkarni, new President Dr Mahesh Ugale, Secretary Ravi Pore, Dr Santosh

Deshpande, Dr Shrinivas Sandikar, Dr Amit Utikar, Dr Nitin Satpurkar, and

Sanjay Pande were present on the occasion.
