New Delhi, 13 August (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday distributed appointment letters to 1,368 newly appointed teachers at a ceremony held at Bharat Mandapam. Congratulating the newly appointed teachers, she said the occasion marked a proud moment that reflected their hard work, the faith and support of their families, and the beginning of a new chapter in their lives.
She said the addition of the new teachers would further strengthen the education system in Delhi's government schools. Delhi Education Minister Ashish Sood was also present on the occasion.
In a post on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said her government was committed to modernising government schools, providing better academic facilities and continuously improving the quality of education.
Gupta expressed confidence that, as teachers, the newly appointed educators would play a crucial role in giving direction to the dreams of Delhi's children and helping build a brighter future for them.
