Lucknow, 13 Aug (HS): Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav claimed on

Thursday that the BJP has been left with nothing but money to win the 2027

Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, in response to media speculations regarding a

likely announcement of a Rs 20,000 handout for women in the state. In a post on

X, Yadav branded the reported proposal as another jumla of the BJP, claiming

that the money provided was the result of its crimes. The BJP has nothing left

but money to win elections. That, too, is BJP ill-gotten money, which the religious

ladies of Uttar Pradesh will never accept, he claimed. The SP president also

questioned the BJP's performance in places where he said similar financial help

was offered before to polls.

Awakened women in Uttar Pradesh are wondering why, in other places where

elections were won after announcing money for women, they are unwilling to

deliver it while demanding it back. And against women who are unable to repay

it, the BJP is adopting the heinous road of police stations, courts, and

lawsuits, Yadav claimed. The BJP

administration is now talking of distributing Rs 50,000 every year, but it

could have done so in the previous ten years, he remarked. Yadav also echoed

the news sources' accusation that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's

administration spent thousands of crores of rupees on women's rights and

privileges for publicity purposes.

He calculated that Rs 50,000 each year for ten years would equal Rs 5 lakh,

and that the stated Rs 20,000 plan would be merely 4% of that sum. The BJP's

crooked administration has squandered Rs 5 lakh from women over the previous

ten years and is now serving a jumla of barely Rs 20,000. Rs 20,000 is barely

4% of Rs 5 lakh, implying that BJP members ate 96% of the women's portion, he

said. Even if the BJP provided Rs 20,000, the government would still owe the

public Rs 4.8 lakh. If Rs 15 lakh is set aside. BJP workers were said to have

gone underground out of fear of public outrage, and the party was reliant on

money after losing face.
