Aizawl, 11 August (HS): Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with Mizoram Police, seized 18.520 kg of marijuana worth approximately ₹10.56 lakh and apprehended one person in Mizoram's Saitual district.

The operation was conducted in the Kawlbem area of Saitual, based on specific inputs. During the operation, the security forces also seized a motorcycle allegedly used in connection with the transportation of the contraband.

The apprehended individual, along with the seized marijuana and motorcycle, was handed over to Ngopa Police Station for further legal proceedings.-----------
