Guwahati, 11 August (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma paid heartfelt tribute to renowned playwright, director, actor and lyricist Hemanta Dutta on his death anniversary.

The Chief Minister in his social media post remembered Dutta for his invaluable contribution to Assamese theatre and the performing arts, saying his contributions would remain etched in the cultural memory of Assam.-----------
