New Delhi, 10 August (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended birthday greetings to Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, wishing him a long life and continued good health.

In a post on X, Modi conveyed his best wishes to Soren and prayed for his well-being and longevity.

“Best wishes to Jharkhand’s Chief Minister, Shri Hemant Soren Ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with a long life and wonderful health,” the Prime Minister said.

Born on August 10, 1975, Hemant Soren is the son of veteran JMM leader and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Shibu Soren. He entered active politics after completing his education and subsequently rose through the ranks of the JMM.

Soren first became Jharkhand Chief Minister in 2013 and later returned to the post in 2019. Following the 2024 Assembly elections, he again assumed charge as Chief Minister after the JMM-led alliance secured a majority in the state.
