Prayagraj, 10 August (H.S.): A farmer-scientist dialogue

program was organized at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Prayagraj on Monday. The

program was chaired by Dr. Mukesh P. Masih, in-charge of the Krishi Vigyan

Kendra. Approximately 100 progressive farmers from various development blocks

of the district participated in the program. On this occasion, farmers

interacted with scientists on various problems faced in the production of

agricultural and horticultural crops, including new agricultural techniques,

pest and disease management, irrigation systems, and reducing production costs.

Dr. Mukesh P. Masih, in-charge of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra,

urged farmers to adopt modern and scientific agricultural techniques and manage

their crops according to changing climatic conditions. He said that regular

dialogue between farmers and scientists will help find practical solutions to

farmers' problems and increase agricultural production and farmers' income.

At the event, Krishi Vigyan Kendra scientists Dr. D.S.

Chauhan, Dr. Nimisha Natarajan, Dr. Subodh Yadav, and Dr. R.P. Singh listened

carefully to the farmers' problems and provided the necessary technical

information and suggestions for their resolution. The farmers also appreciated

the technical services, training, and scientific advice provided by the Krishi

Vigyan Kendra.

At the end of the program, the Krishi Vigyan Kendra

expressed gratitude to all the progressive farmers present. The program's

objective was to bring the latest agricultural techniques to the farm by

establishing better coordination between farmers and agricultural scientists.
