Guwahati, 10 August (HS): Erik Roy’s unbeaten 94 powered Jorhat Stallions to a convincing nine-wicket victory over Tezpur Titans in Match 19 of the Imperial Blue Packaged Drinking Water Assam Premier League 2026 at ACA Stadium, Guwahati, on Monday. The win lifted Jorhat Stallions to fourth place in the points table.

After being asked to bat, Tezpur Titans posted 160/6 in 20 overs. Avijit Singha Roy top-scored with 39 off 35 balls, while Danish Ahmed provided a late flourish with an unbeaten 36 off just 15 balls, including four sixes. Captain Ayushman Malakar added 18 off nine deliveries.

Hridip Deka was the pick of the Jorhat Stallions bowlers, claiming 3/25. Abhilash Gogoi and Rajjak Uddin Ahmed took one wicket each.

Chasing 161, Jorhat Stallions made light work of the target, reaching 162/1 in just 18.1 overs. Roy dominated the chase with an unbeaten 94 off 59 balls, smashing 10 fours and five sixes. Swarupam Purkayastha remained unbeaten on 34 off 20 balls, while Rajveer Singh contributed 30 off 32 deliveries.

Roy’s spectacular innings was the second-highest individual score of the tournament so far. The victory was Jorhat Stallions’ second of the season and came in emphatic fashion.
