10 August (H.S.): A free medical health camp was organized by the Cantonment
Board General Hospital, New Cantt, Prayagraj, at Ambedkar Park, Sadar Bazaar,
under the Chikitsa Aapke Dwar (Healthcare at Your Doorstep)
campaign. The objective of the camp was to provide better healthcare facilities
to the general public in their vicinity and to raise awareness about health
issues. Brigadier Navneet Dagar (Sena Medal) was the chief guest at the event,
while the guests of honor included Nagesh Kumar Pandey, Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) of the Cantonment Board Prayagraj, and Vinod Valmiki, a nominated member
of the Cantonment Board Prayagraj.
Commending the medical camp organized by the
Cantonment Board Prayagraj in the public interest, Chief Guest Brigadier
Navneet Dagar stated that such health camps play a vital role in making
essential medical services accessible to the public close to their homes. He
also assured his full support for this public welfare initiative.
CEO Nagesh Kumar Pandey expressed his gratitude to
the chief guest, doctors, and all medical staff for attending the event. He
stated that this public welfare campaign run by the Cantonment Board would be
expanded further so that a greater number of people could benefit from it.
At the camp, doctors conducted free health
check-ups and provided medical consultations to the attendees, along with
distributing free medicines where necessary. While examining various health
issues, the doctors and health workers provided important information to the
public regarding the adoption of a healthy lifestyle, the importance of regular
health check-ups, and the prevention of various diseases.
Medical and health personnel present on the
occasion included S.N. Pandey, Dr. P.P. Shukla (RMO), Dr. Sunita Gaud, Dr. Siddharth
Pandey, Ashok Kumar, Md. Ansar, and V.D. Shukla. Through the health awareness program, people
were encouraged to remain conscious of their health and to seek timely medical
advice in the event of any health issue.
