Imphal, 10 August (HS): As part of the year-long observance of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas 2026, a one-day free health camp was organised by the 5th India Reserve Battalion (IRB), Chingarel, in association with Medilane Foundation at the Battalion Headquarters on Monday.

The camp was organised as part of the battalion’s ongoing community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting health awareness and improving access to basic healthcare services for personnel and the local community.

More than 100 people, including residents from surrounding areas, participated in the camp and availed themselves of free medical services. The camp offered cataract screening, eye and dental check-ups, as well as screening for blood pressure and blood sugar levels.

Participants were also provided with health advice and guidance based on the results of the screenings.-----------
