
Lucknow, 10 August (H.S.): The deadline for
'Divyangjan Rojgar Abhiyaan-3.0', being organised under the aegis of Uttar
Pradesh Skill Development Mission, especially with the aim of empowering and
making the disabled self-reliant, has been extended. The date of this campaign,
which was earlier scheduled from 3 August to 10 August 2026, has now been
extended in public interest and it has now been decided to run it till 13
August 2026.
Mission Director Pulkit Khare stated that the
primary objective of this important initiative is to achieve 100% employment
targets and to benefit as many disabled youth in the state as possible by
connecting them with employment and self-employment opportunities. The
timeframe has been extended in light of the positive response to the campaign
and the increasing number of applicants.
Under the campaign, relevant administrative
officials and district-level teams have been directed to ensure the smooth and
effective operation of the program until the extended date. Through this
initiative, with the cooperation of various private and skill development
companies and institutions, direct employment opportunities are being provided
to disabled candidates according to their qualifications and interests.
The Mission
Director has appealed to all eligible and interested disabled persons of the
state to take maximum advantage of the extended period and join the scheme by
completing their registration and interview process by August 13.
