Guwahati, 01 August (HS): Assam Water Resources Minister Bimal Bora on Saturday assured that there is no fresh threat of any embankment breach in Sivasagar district.

The minister said the Water Resources Department is maintaining round-the-clock surveillance on all embankments in the district. Teams are continuously monitoring vulnerable stretches to prevent any untoward situation.

Bora urged residents not to panic, stating that there is no reason for public concern as the department remains fully alert and is taking all necessary precautionary measures.---------
