Grand Mati Kalash Yatra organised in city's south assembly
Minister Nandi felicitated Kalash containing sacred soil
brought from holy birthplace of Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj
Prayagraj, August 01 (HS): On the auspicious occasion of the
650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, the holy
Mati Kalash Yatra, part of the Samrasata Sankalp Abhiyan, received a grand
welcome in the Prayagraj City South Assembly constituency on Saturday under the
leadership of Uttar Pradesh Government's Industrial Development Minister Nand
Gopal Gupta Nandi and former Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi. Along with BJP
officials, a large number of workers welcomed the Kalash Yatra.
A large number of local citizens enthusiastically
participated in this journey, which began in Chhitpur and ended at the
Kalichaura Temple in Kharkauni. During this journey, a pledge was made to
spread the message of harmony and humanity preached by Saint Ravidas to
everyone.
Minister Nandi said that Saint Ravidas's entire life
inspires us to foster brotherhood, harmony, and a unified society. This Mati
Kalash Yatra is an effort to spread his sacred thoughts and social
consciousness to the masses. Former Mayor Abhilasha Gupta Nandi said that Sant
Shiromani Guru Ravidas was not just a saint, but a great proponent of social
harmony, equality, and self-respect. His teachings still inspire society to
rise above caste discrimination and move forward toward unity and
nation-building.
The journey started from Chhitpur via Bairhana, through the
new bridge, Indalpur, through the vegetable market, and concluded at Kharkauni,
Kalichaura temple. On this occasion, BJP Metropolitan President Sanjay Gupta,
Metropolitan Vice President Anil Kumar Kesarwani, Anand Sonkar, Campaign
Coordinator Deep Dwivedi, Kidganj Mandal President Kabir Jaiswal, former Mandal
President Raghavendra Mishra, Naini Mandal President Rajat Kumar Dubey,
nominated councilor and former Mandal President Dilip Kesarwani, Meerapur Mandal
President Gaya Prasad Nishad, former Mandal President Ranvijay Singh, Chowk
Mandal President Sumit Kumar Vaishya, former Mandal President Dinesh
Vishwakarma, Muthiganj Mandal President Parmanand Verma, former Mandal
