New Delhi, 01 August (H.S.): Gold prices continued their upward trend in the domestic bullion market on Saturday, marking the second consecutive day of gains. However, silver prices remained unchanged. Following the rise in prices, gold became costlier by Rs. 250 to Rs. 270 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country.

After the latest price revision, 24-carat gold was trading in the range of Rs. 1,44,610 to Rs. 1,44,760 per 10 grams in most parts of the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold between Rs. 1,32,560 and Rs. 1,32,710 per 10 grams. Due to no change in silver prices, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs. 2,34,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs. 1,44,760 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs. 1,32,710 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs. 1,44,610 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold was available at Rs. 1,32,560 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs. 1,44,660 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs. 1,32,610 per 10 grams.

Apart from these major cities, Chennai witnessed 24-carat gold trading at Rs. 1,44,610 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs. 1,32,560 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was also trading at Rs. 1,44,610 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs. 1,32,560 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs. 1,44,660 per 10 grams, whereas 22-carat gold was available at Rs. 1,32,610 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs. 1,44,760 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs. 1,32,710 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was available at Rs. 1,44,660 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs. 1,32,610 per 10 grams. The bullion market in Lucknow recorded 24-carat gold prices at Rs. 1,44,760 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold prices at Rs. 1,32,710 per 10 grams.

Like other parts of the country, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha also witnessed a rise in gold prices. In the state capitals of Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs. 1,44,610 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs. 1,32,560 per 10 grams.

The precious metal market continued to remain firm amid changing domestic and global factors influencing investor sentiment and demand.
