Parbhani, 09 July (HS): Parbhani city and Hingoli

district experienced four tremors of earthquake on the wee hours on Thursday. A

mild earthquake struck around 1.37 am which was registered at 4.6 on the Richter

scale. This was followed by quake of 3.6 intensity at 2.15 am, 3.9 intensity at

2.17 am and 4.1 intensity at 3.23 am.

The epicentre of the earthquake was at about 10 km deep

in Shinde village of Vasmat tehsil in Hingoli district and nearby areas.

Some houses in the villages developed cracks due to the earthquake. However, there is not report of damage to life.
