Lucknow, 09 July (HS): On Thursday morning, Chief Minister

Yogi Adityanath circumambulated the famous Kamadgiri mountain in Chitrakoot.

During the five-kilometer walk, he also offered prayers at the Hanuman temple

in Baraha and fed gram to monkeys along the way. The 5-kilometer

circumambulation of Kamadgiri takes approximately one to one and a half hours.

The Chief Minister began his journey early in the morning. His visit to

Chitrakoot and Banda districts is considered significant. Today, he will

present a gift of Rs. 709 crore to Banda district. CM Yogi's Bundelkhand tour

is considered significant ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.

Before heading to Banda, CM Yogi performed the five-kosi

parikrama of Kamadgiri in Chitrakoot and offered prayers at the Baraha Hanuman

Temple. Following the example of Ayodhya and Kashi, a Rs. 562.5 crore corridor

is planned for construction and beautification. The government is presenting

Bundelkhand as a new model of development, where amenities ranging from the

Har Ghar Nal Yojana to expressways have become the region's

lifeline.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will be

visiting Banda district today. During his visit, he will inaugurate 239

development projects worth approximately Rs. 710 crore. The district

administration has made all preparations for his arrival.

According to the scheduled program, the Chief Minister will

depart by helicopter from Chitrakoot at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at the helipad at

the Banda Police Lines at 10:45 a.m. There, he will first inaugurate the newly

constructed police residential apartments on the Police Lines campus and

participate in a tree planting program.

After this, the Chief Minister will arrive at Kalukuan

Square and unveil and dedicate the statue of Avantibai Lodhi. He will then attend

a public meeting at the Pandit JN Degree College grounds. A short film

highlighting the district's development work will be screened before the public

meeting.

During the public meeting, the Chief Minister will

inaugurate 239 development projects worth Rs. 710 crore related to the Sadar

and Baberu assembly constituencies. He will also distribute certificates to

beneficiaries of various departmental schemes and participate in various

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) programs.

The Chief Minister will address the public meeting for

approximately 30 minutes. Following the meeting, he will depart for Lucknow by

helicopter from the Police Lines helipad at 12 noon.

The district administration and police are on full alert for

the Chief Minister's visit. On Wednesday, officials reviewed and finalized all

preparations. Arrangements for a pandal, stage, drinking water, electricity,

sanitation, and other basic amenities have been ensured at the public meeting

venue. Extensive barricading and security arrangements have been made along the

VIP route to ensure a peaceful and orderly visit.

“Today, the land of valour in Bundelkhand, Banda—the

hallmark of diligence, courage, and progress—will infuse new energy into the

journey of public welfare and development.

In the Banda and Baberu Assembly constituencies, the

inauguration/foundation stone laying of 229 development projects costing more

than Rs. 710 crore will take place. Additionally, appointment letters, approval

letters, cheques, Ayushman and Chief Minister Cashless Medical Cards, housing

keys, and tool kits will also be distributed to beneficiaries of various public

welfare schemes. Bundelkhand, advancing with the resolve for robust

infrastructure, empowered citizens, and upliftment of the last in line, is

shaping a new vision of a 'Developed Uttar Pradesh,” remarked UP CM in a post

on X.
