Lucknow, 05 July (HS): BJP national president Nitin Nabin
said on Sunday that the party will cooperate with NDA partners for the 2027
assembly elections, despite the fact that it is capable of contesting elections
on its own. Speaking to reporters after meeting with NDA allies at the Taj
Hotel, he expressed confidence that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) will
reclaim power in Uttar Pradesh by a landslide in the 2027 elections. The
Bharatiya Janata Party is capable of contesting elections. We will guarantee
that all NDA elements continue to collaborate to make Uttar Pradesh a 'Uttam
Pradesh', he added. He stated that the NDA administration, led by Prime
Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, had transformed the
state through joint efforts.
“Our leaders, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath, have dedicated their lives to serving the people. We
are convinced that the NDA coalition would retain power with a landslide
victory in the 2027 assembly elections, Nabin stated.
The BJP would strive with its partners to replicate its success
in the 2017 assembly elections based on the work done in the state, party
officials said after meeting with BJP president Nitin Nabin on Sunday. Nabin,
who is visiting Lucknow for two days, began his day with a tea meeting with the
state's past BJP presidents. According to party insiders, they discussed the
strategy for the 2027 assembly elections.
Later in the day, the BJP head met with his coalition partners again. Leaders
of the state's BJP allies stated that the conference focus on strengthening the
coalition, extending its organizational base, and developing a strategy to
assure the NDA's return to power in the state.
Nabin would subsequently meet with Deputy Chief Ministers
Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak at their respective houses. Following
the meeting of ex-BJP state presidents, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad
Maurya stated that the BJP would establish the government of Uttar Pradesh for
the third time in a row in 2027, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, on the strength
of the work we have done. The people of Uttar Pradesh are against goonda raj,
mafia raj, dynasty politics, and rioting. They seek growth, strong government,
and security. Maurya, a former BJP state president, stated that if the
Samajwadi Party returns, it will crush people, intimidate them and
land grabbing will resume. Our objective is to develop India and Uttar Pradesh
by 2047, and the Samajwadi Party will not be in power for the next 21 years, he
remarked. Regarding his meeting with BJP president Nabin, he stated, We
discussed how the government and the organization will work together to
replicate the 2017 performance and secure an even bigger victory in 2027. All
of our NDA allies will remain together.”
Former state president and Uttar Pradesh minister Swatantra Dev Singh stated
that the party's message is to extend Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath's welfare packages to every hamlet. He stated that the
BJP, as a cadre-based party, gets its power from its members. Our workers rise
above casteism, regionalism, individualism, family dominance, and dynasty
politics, and are directed by nationalism. According to the minister, the party
always respects and cares for its workers since today's activists will be tomorrow's
leader.
Another ex-president, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, stated that we collaborate
closely with our alliance partners, solve their problems, and keep connected
with them through regular conversations. I am convinced that this spirit will
be upheld inside the NDA alliance.
When asked if the BJP's poor performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections was
discussed in the meeting, he stated, After the 2024 Lok Sabha elections,
you saw the results of the bypolls, where the BJP won all the seats. We are
completely ready. A negative agenda does not succeed on a consistent basis. I
am convinced that the BJP will gain a larger mandate in Uttar Pradesh than it
did in 2017, Chaudhary remarked.
Nabin, who is on a two-day visit to Lucknow, has a number of
meetings planned, primarily surrounding the assembly elections next year. He
landed in Lucknow on Saturday.
