Tirumala, July 5 (HS): The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has cancelled VIP Break Darshan on July 14 and July 17 in view of the Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam and Anivara Asthanam ceremonies at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple.
According to TTD, VIP Break Darshan will remain suspended on July 14 due to the Koil Alwar Thirumanjanam, a traditional temple purification ritual, and on July 17 on account of the annual Anivara Asthanam festival.
TTD has also announced that recommendation letters for VIP Darshan will not be accepted on July 13 and July 16.
In addition, Kalyanotsavam, Arjitha Brahmotsavam, Unjal Seva and Sahasra Deepalankarana Seva scheduled for July 17 have been cancelled to facilitate the smooth conduct of Anivara Asthanam rituals.
The temple administration said the decision was taken to ensure the smooth conduct of religious ceremonies and facilitate better darshan arrangements for devotees.
TTD has advised devotees planning to visit Tirumala during the period to make their travel plans accordingly.
