Tehran, 05 July (H.S.): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that the guidance of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, will continue to inspire nations across the world. He said the message of unity, dignity, freedom and resistance is now resonating more strongly than ever, and called on all Muslim countries to unite.

According to IRNA, President Pezeshkian made the appeal while addressing an international conference in Tehran on Saturday titled Imam Khamenei: The Eternal Leader of Resistance. He welcomed domestic and international participants attending the event held in memory of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution. Expressing hope that the gathering would strengthen solidarity across the Muslim world, he said it would also promote greater cooperation against violence, terrorism and hegemonic policies pursued by what he described as global arrogance.

Referring to the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei, the Iranian President described it as a tragic and irreparable loss. He said the path and message of divinely guided leaders do not end with their martyrdom but continue to inspire future generations to pursue the ideals of justice, truth and resistance. He added that Ayatollah Khamenei's guidance has inspired people far beyond Iran's borders.

The President said that, owing to the guidance of the martyred leader of the Islamic Revolution, the message of unity, dignity, freedom and resistance is echoing among nations and followers of different faiths. He described Islamic unity not as a political slogan but as a strategic necessity. Stressing that Muslims share one God, one Prophet and one Holy Book, he urged them not to allow sectarian or political differences to divide them.

Pezeshkian said the foundation of Islamic society rests on brotherhood and reconciliation, adding that unity has historically been the greatest source of strength for Muslims. He argued that if Muslim countries worked together, conflicts and humanitarian crises in places such as Gaza, Lebanon and Palestine could not continue unchecked. He warned that divisions among Islamic groups provide external powers with opportunities to exploit regional tensions.

The Iranian President also condemned what he described as atrocities committed by the Israeli regime and criticised the support it receives from the United States. He said the region is witnessing the targeted killings of intellectuals, scientists and other influential figures. Questioning the silence of international organisations, he said that despite claiming to uphold human rights, they have failed to prevent such actions. Concluding his address, Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran's commitment to pursuing justice, strengthening Islamic solidarity and advancing regional peace through unity.
