Tamulpur (Assam), 04 July (HS): The Tamulpur district administration has imposed prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, to ensure the smooth and peaceful conduct of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Examination, 2025, scheduled for July 5.

The order prohibits the entry of unauthorised persons within 100 metres of the examination centre at Tamulpur Higher Secondary School. Candidates have been barred from carrying mobile phones or other electronic devices into the examination hall, while guardians have been requested to avoid unnecessary gatherings. The restrictions will remain in force until the examination concludes and violations will invite legal action under the relevant provisions of law.-----------
