New Delhi, 31 July (H.S.): The Ministry of Women and Child Development has extended the deadline for online nominations for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRB) 2026 from July 31 to August 15.

According to information released by the Ministry of Women and Child Development on Friday, the nomination process for the award has been underway through the National Awards Portal since April 1. Interested candidates, children applying themselves and any citizen can submit their recommendations only through the online mode on the National Awards Portal.

The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is conferred on children who have achieved exceptional accomplishments in fields such as bravery, social service, environment, sports, art and culture, and science and technology.

Children eligible for the award must be Indian citizens, residing in India, and should be above five years and below 18 years of age as of July 31, 2026.

The Ministry of Women and Child Development has appealed to eligible children and citizens to submit their online nominations on the National Awards Portal by August 15.
