
Lucknow, 31 July (HS): On the renowned freedom warrior
Sardar Udham Singh's Martyrdom Day (Balidan Diwas) on July 31, 2026, Uttar
Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered a modest homage. In his memorial
statement, the Chief Minister stressed that Udham Singh's great heroism,
fortitude, and bravery for the nation's freedom will continue to serve as an
inspiration for generations to come. According to an official statement posted
on Yogi Adityanath's X Account, Udham Singh gave up everything for his country,
and his deeds would be remembered as a shining example of patriotism in the
future. Yogi Adityanath honored the revolutionary among other important figures
such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
UP CM mentioned in a
post on X, “On the martyrdom day of the great freedom fighter Sardar
Udham Singh, who dedicated his all to the motherland, humble tribute. The
valor, bravery, and heroism he displayed for the country's independence will
remain exemplary for centuries in the service of Mother India.”
