
Lucknow, 31 July (HS): Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister
Keshav Prasad Maurya has described the passage of the Public Examinations
Amendment Bill, 2026 in the Rajya Sabha as a historic step. In a social
media post on Friday, the Deputy Chief Minister wrote that the passage of the
Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill,
2026 in the Rajya Sabha under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister
Narendra Modi is a historic step towards protecting the interests of millions
of hardworking and talented youth of the country.
According to the Deputy Chief Minister, this bill symbolizes
a strong commitment to making the examination system more transparent, fair,
and credible. This important step will effectively curb examination mafias and
unfair means, ensuring the hard work of deserving candidates is properly
recognized. A strong, honest, and accountable examination system is the
foundation for a developed India, and this bill provides new strength to that
resolve.
