
Varanasi, 31 July (HS): On Friday, the 13th day of the
76-day ward tour program in the Varanasi South Assembly, MLA Dr. Neelkanth
Tiwari launched a cleanliness drive in the Durgakund ward of Pandit Deendayal
Upadhyay Mandal. Dr. Neelkanth Tiwari took a broom and swept parks, roads, and
outside religious places.
During the Swachhata Abhiyan programme, MLA Dr Neelkanth
Tiwari listened to the problems and difficulties of the citizens of the area
and also directed the officials to resolve the issues timely and satisfactorily.
MLA Dr Neelkanth Tiwari said that this is another phase of the cleanliness
programme being carried out by doing street walk in the parliamentary
constituency of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In which, apart from visiting
every ward and checking the cleanliness system there, he himself is also
sweeping. BJP workers and local people are also joining him. Taking forward the
message of cleanliness given by Prime Minister Modi, one step at a time is
being taken continuously.
