Gold Prices Rise in Domestic Bullion Market, Silver Rates Remain Unchanged

New Delhi, 31 July (H.S.): Gold prices witnessed an upward trend during early trading in the domestic bullion market on Friday, while silver prices remained unchanged. Following the rise in prices, gold became costlier by Rs 770 to Rs 840 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country.

Due to the latest price movement, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,44,340 and Rs 1,44,490 per 10 grams in major bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold in the range of Rs 1,32,310 to Rs 1,32,460 per 10 grams. With no change in silver prices, the precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,34,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.

In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,490 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,32,460 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, the country's financial capital, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,44,340 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,32,310 per 10 grams. Similarly, in Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold was recorded at Rs 1,44,390 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,32,360 per 10 grams.

Apart from these major cities, Chennai recorded 24-carat gold prices at Rs 1,44,340 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,32,310 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,340 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs 1,32,310 per 10 grams. In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold was Rs 1,44,390 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,32,360 per 10 grams.

In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,490 per 10 grams, and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,32,460 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,44,390 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs 1,32,360 per 10 grams. In the Lucknow bullion market, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,490 per 10 grams, whereas 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,32,460 per 10 grams.

Similar to other states, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed a rise in gold prices. In the capitals of these three states — Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar — 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,44,340 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold was being sold at Rs 1,32,310 per 10 grams in the bullion markets of all three cities.
