Bhubaneswar, 30 July (H.S.): In view of the prevailing flood situation in the state, Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari conducted an aerial survey using a helicopter and carried out a comprehensive review of the affected regions.

The Minister inspected flood- and waterlogging-affected areas in the districts of Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Keonjhar. He was accompanied by Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Dr. Arvind Kumar Padhee, and Special Relief Commissioner (SRC), Rajesh Prabhakar Patil.

It is noteworthy that earlier in the day, prior to the field visit, the Minister held a meeting at Lok Seva Bhavan with district collectors and senior officials to assess the current rainfall and flood situation across the state.
