
Hooghly, 30 July (H.S.): Chandannagar Police Commissionerate has introduced an online Tenant Registration system to streamline and maintain information related to tenants. An official notification in this regard was issued by the Police Commissionerate on Thursday.
According to the notification, landlords who have entered into oral or written agreements with tenants are required to provide detailed information about their tenants through the Chandannagar e-Service Portal under the Tenant Registration section.
To access the service, users have to search for “Chandannagar e-Service Portal” on Google and enter the official portal through the relevant link. They can then access the Tenant Registration section from the portal’s home page.
First-time users will have to click on “Click here to Sign Up” and complete the registration process. After completing the sign-up process, users can Sign In and access the Tenant Registration page.
Applicants will have to provide the required details and upload scanned copies of the necessary documents. As per the notification, the file size of each document should be kept within 200 KB.
After entering all the required information and uploading the documents, applicants have to click on the “Submit” button. The submitted online form will then be forwarded to the concerned police station’s portal for verification.
According to the police, if the information provided is found to be correct during verification, the online form will be accepted. If any information is found to be incorrect, the form will not be accepted and the applicant will be able to make corrections through their login and resubmit it.
The Chandannagar Police Commissionerate has urged landlords to provide complete and accurate information and upload all necessary documents in the prescribed format. Applicants have also been advised to carefully check all details before submitting the form.
