Guwahati, 30 July (HS): One person was killed on the spot in a horrific road accident on the National Highway in Guwahati on Thursday.

According to initial reports, a truck travelling towards Khanapara rammed into the rear of another truck moving in the same direction. The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in the death of one truck driver at the scene.

Police reached the spot and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident. Further details are awaited.----------
