Keshav Prasad Maurya said on Thursday that nearly 3,000 innocent Sikh brothers

and sisters were killed in the anti-Sikh riots in Delhi in 1984, and more than

10,000 across the country following the assassination of then-Prime Minister

Indira Gandhi. Many senior Congress leaders, working under the Gandhi

family umbrella,” incited the murders and riots. Some were sentenced to life

imprisonment, and the cases of many others are still pending in court.

The Deputy Chief Minister wrote in a social media post on

Thursday that, to justify the killings, Rajiv Gandhi, upon becoming Prime

Minister, innocently defended the killers, saying, When a big tree falls,

the earth shakes. The meaning was clear: then-Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi

was protecting the Congress rioters.

Keshav Prasad Maurya said that Rahul Gandhi, an expert

without knowledge, knows everything, except that he is the Leader of the

Opposition in the Lok Sabha. The absurd statement he made about Union Home and

Cooperation Minister Amit Shah has exposed his five-time stint as MP. He

doesn't know the ABCs of administration. In fact, the Union Home Minister

remains a target of the Gandhi family because the entire Congress party has no

solution to his 'strategic wheel'. The Gandhi family repeatedly falls prey to

his strategic chessboard. That is why Rahul Gandhi keeps making absurd

statements every day.
