Ghazipur, 30 July (HS): Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister

of Uttar Pradesh in the district of Ghazipur, during a program organized for

the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 268 public welfare projects

worth Rs. 692 crore said, “From the freedom movement to defending the borders

of independent India, the contribution of Gahmar, Asia's largest village in Ghazipur

district, is immense. In the First War of Independence in 1857, the mere

mention of Magar Singh's name made the British tremble. He hailed from this

very land. The people of the Samajwadi Party and Congress used to hold a fair

for the invader Salar Masud Ghazi. We said—its fair will not be held. The fair

will be held in memory of Maharaja Suhaldev Ji.”

“Our government has decided that the Purvanchal Expressway

will be extended from Ghazipur to Chandauli and from Chandauli to Varanasi, all

the way to Shaktinagar. If we start lifting the veil on the sins of the

Samajwadi Party, they won't be left worthy of showing their faces anywhere. I

call upon you to move forward with the double engine government. You need to stay

cautious of the socialists. Sisters and brothers, Mafias belong to no one. They

always suck the blood of society, exploit the poor, and create an atmosphere of

fear and terror among traders. Let us work together towards the creation of a

'Developed Uttar Pradesh' and 'Developed Ghazipur' in the direction of a

'Developed India', he added.

“The sacred land nurtured by the holy stream of Maharaja

Gadhi and Mother Ganga is witnessing the pride and development of Ghazipur

district touching new horizons.

Accelerating the district's journey of development, today

the inauguration and foundation stone laying of 268 public welfare projects

worth Rs. 692 crore were carried out for the Ghazipur, Jakhanian, Mohammadabad,

Saidpur, Zamania, Jahurabad, and Jangipur assembly constituencies. On this

occasion, approval letters and certificates were also distributed to the

beneficiaries of various schemes. Due to the inaction of previous governments,

the citizens of the state were enduring the scourge of poverty, but today,

under the double-engine government, they are being covered by all government

schemes. Heartfelt congratulations to the residents of the district for these

gifts received on the first day of the sacred 'Shravan month',” he mentioned in

a post on X.
