New Delhi, 03 July (H.S.): Gold prices continued their upward momentum in India's domestic bullion market on Friday, with rates rising sharply across most major cities during early trade. Except for Chennai, where the increase was relatively moderate, gold prices climbed by Rs 2,770 to Rs 3,020 per 10 grams across the country. Silver also witnessed a strong rally, gaining up to Rs 5,000 per kilogram.

Following the surge, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,43,790 and Rs 1,46,190 per 10 grams in most bullion markets. Similarly, 22-carat gold was priced between Rs 1,31,810 and Rs 1,34,010 per 10 grams. In Delhi, silver was trading at Rs 2,45,100 per kilogram.

In the national capital, 24-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,43,940 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,31,960 per 10 grams.

In Mumbai, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,43,790 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,31,810 per 10 grams. In Ahmedabad, retail prices stood at Rs 1,43,840 per 10 grams for 24-carat gold and Rs 1,31,860 per 10 grams for 22-carat gold.

Among the major cities, Chennai recorded 24-carat gold at Rs 1,46,190 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,34,010 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was selling at Rs 1,43,790 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,31,810 per 10 grams.

In Bhopal, 24-carat gold was available at Rs 1,43,840 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,31,860 per 10 grams.

Jaipur reported 24-carat gold at Rs 1,43,940 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs 1,31,960 per 10 grams. In Patna, the prices stood at Rs 1,43,840 and Rs 1,31,860 per 10 grams for 24-carat and 22-carat gold, respectively. In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,43,940 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,31,960 per 10 grams.

Gold prices also strengthened in the bullion markets of Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar. In all three cities, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,43,790 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs 1,31,810 per 10 grams.
