
New Delhi, 28 July (H.S.): BJP MPs staged a protest outside the Parliament complex on Tuesday over the alleged paper leak case in Punjab. The lawmakers raised slogans against the Punjab government and demanded the resignation of state Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains.
The BJP MPs alleged that the reported paper leaks and irregularities in examination and recruitment processes in Punjab have affected the future of lakhs of students. They said the Education Minister should take moral responsibility for the issue and step down from his post.
During the protest, the BJP lawmakers carried placards, raised slogans against the Punjab government, and demanded greater transparency and accountability in the state’s education system.
