New Delhi, 23 July (H.S.):
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Nabin on Thursday launched a sharp attack on the Congress, alleging that the entire Opposition was avoiding discussions because it feared that its double standards would be exposed before the people and the country’s youth once the issues were debated on the floor of the House.
Speaking to the media outside Parliament, Nabin challenged the Opposition to openly participate in discussions on all issues related to students and young people, including the NEET matter. He said the NDA government was fully prepared to engage in dialogue on every issue and answer all questions raised by the Opposition.
Nabin said that Rahul Gandhi and the Opposition have a political history of avoiding discussions. He added that this was the reason they were choosing to stay away from debates in Parliament rather than face them directly.
