
New Delhi, 23 July (H.S.): The domestic bullion market witnessed a strong upward trend during early trading on Thursday, with both gold and silver prices registering significant gains. Following the sharp rise in prices, gold became costlier by Rs.2,100 to Rs.2,190 per 10 grams across most bullion markets in the country, while silver surged by Rs.5,200 per kilogram.
As a result of the rally, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs.146,420 and Rs.146,570 per 10 grams in most bullion markets across the country. Similarly, 22-carat gold was being sold in the range of Rs.134,310 to Rs.134,460 per 10 grams. Silver also witnessed a substantial increase, with the white metal trading at Rs.240,100 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market.
In Delhi, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs.146,570 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold stood at Rs.134,460 per 10 grams. In the country's financial capital, Mumbai, 24-carat gold was priced at Rs.146,420 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs.134,310 per 10 grams.
In Ahmedabad, the retail price of 24-carat gold stood at Rs.146,470 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs.134,360 per 10 grams.
Among other major cities, Chennai recorded the price of 24-carat gold at Rs.146,420 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs.134,310 per 10 grams. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold was also trading at Rs.146,420 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold stood at Rs.34,310 per 10 grams.
In Bhopal, the price of 24-carat gold was Rs.146,470 per 10 grams, whereas 22-carat gold was being sold at Rs.134,360 per 10 grams.
In Jaipur, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs.146,570 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was priced at Rs.134,460 per 10 grams. In Patna, 24-carat gold stood at Rs.146,470 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at Rs.134,360 per 10 grams.
In Lucknow, 24-carat gold was trading at Rs.146,570 per 10 grams, while the price of 22-carat gold was Rs.134,460 per 10 grams.
Similar to other parts of the country, bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana and Odisha also witnessed a bullish trend in gold prices. In the capitals of these three states—Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Bhubaneswar—24-carat gold was trading at Rs.146,420 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was available at Rs.134,310 per 10 grams.
